Known for its warm, crystal clear waters and abundant marine life, Koh Tao is one of the best dive destinations in the world for both beginners and advanced divers. See rare life like the large pelagic whale shark, blacktip reef sharks or sea turtles.

"It’s one thing to learn a new skill, it’s another to learn from someone who loves what they do so much that they turn the entire process into an unforgettable experience."
- Reese Marshall
"If you’re going to do any sort of diving in Koh Tao, DV dive is THE place to do your certification."
- Jace Marshall
Either get a taxi or rent a scooter. We are only 1.8.km away from the Ferry Port but we are on top of a big hill, so we do not recommend walking.
We recommend renting from RPM (Red Power Motor) which is a trusted scooter rental shop located 2-3 mins walk from the Ferry Port.
Koh Tao is small. Everything is close! Some of the nicest beaches, restaurants, and viewpoints are only a 2–5-minute drive from our Hostel. The main strip (Sairee Beach) is an 8-minute drive. Walking to the same spots would take around 20-40 minutes, but we don’t recommend this due to the climate and the big hill that we are on top of.
Early check-in is not possible but you are welcome to arrive at the Hostel common area at any time (24/7) to drop off your bags and relax. There is free tea, coffee, drinking water, Netflix, and plenty of sofa space to crash out on. Reception opens at 8am and will provide a towel for you to shower.
Yes, we have delicious and nutritious vegetarian and vegan options available, as well as meat.
PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) is one of many organisations offering scuba dive certifications. We are associated with SSI (Scuba Schools International) and not PADI.
There is very little difference. Both organisations offer almost identical courses & certifications, and you can crossover between them freely, e.g. you can achieve Open Water certification with SSI and then continue to Advanced certification with PADI, or vice versa.
We maintain small group sizes of 1-4 students per isntructor for a more personal experience.
